My name is Alba Domingo, an illustrator born and now also based in Riudoms (Catalonia). My work moves across diverse fields such as editorial, comics, books, installations, and fanzines or artist’s books. It is defined by a sensitive gaze expressed through an oniric and poetic visual imaginary. When I illustrate, I always seek to establish a deep dialogue with the text, offering images that not only accompany it but also broaden and complement the reading, adding different layers of meaning. Throughout my career, I have received distinctions such as the Crítica Serra d’Or Award, selection in the White Ravens, and inclusion on the longlist of the World Illustration Awards. My visual universe, built with sensitivity and curiosity, reflects my desire to explore different ways of storytelling through images and to highlight the poetic force of contemporary illustration.
