Early this year, the composer Joan Guinjoan died. Om magazine paid tribute to him by dedicating a number of the magazine to his beginnings in his hometown and I illustrated the cover.
To do this, I asked myself: his childhood in Riudoms really influenced his music? After some research, I realized how much his origins had influenced him: in many of his songs, he imitated sounds from his childhood.
The cover ended up being a triple cover where there were elements from their childhood reresented in two different ways: with a drawing and the musical transcription of their sound.
1. The bell that was installed when he had his first contact with music
2. The rocking chair of his mother
3. A hoe like the one he used when he was working as a farmer
